This is undoubtedly 1 of the most crucial literary events of fresh years – not only in Poland but besides in the world. The author of the book is Dr. Adam Sosnowski – a writer and a direct witness of this year's conclave, who undertook an ambitious task of bringing the fresh Pope to the world. It's a fascinating journey through places and years, from childhood in the suburbs of Chicago, through a pastoral mission in the Peruvian Andes, to the Vatican scenes.

The White Raven Publishing home took care not only of the substantive side of the book, but besides of the unique visual layer. These include photographs from Leon XIV's childhood and youth, photographs from his missionary work in South America, and moving pictures from the first moments of the pontificate.

The biography was created in close cooperation with spiritual brothers, close collaborators from the Roman Curia, friends and lay people who met the Pope at various stages of his life. Thanks to this, the book presents not only historical facts, but besides a warm human image of Pope Leon XIV – a man leading the Church present through times full of challenges and hope.

This is not a publication prepared in haste. It's a solid, 400-page book based on in-depth conversations, papers and previously unpublished materials. A peculiar value for the Polish reader is the chapter devoted to the relationships of Leon XIV with Poland – his visits to Krakow, meetings with Augustians and Augustians and unique photographs from these events.
