Information about the thought of establishing a peculiar committee on alleged abuse of power in relation to “democratic activists” was addressed in social media by commentators of public life in Poland. "The razor plays the best," said Stanisław Żaryn, advisor to the president of Poland.
At the initiative of ministers: Tomasz Siemoniak and Adam Bodnar, a government committee will be appointed to deal with all cases of alleged abuse of power towards democratic activists from 2016 to 1923, as reported present by the press spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Jacek Dobrzyński.
Dobrzyński stated on X that work on the appointment of the committee has been ongoing for respective weeks and is being finalised. He added that it would include representatives of civilian society and lawyers representing the victims.
