This subject was addressed in the “Presidents and Prime Ministers” programme in Polsat News. In Leszek Miller's opinion, the situation exposed the weakness of the Polish anti-aircraft defence. — — An unidentified flying object enters Poland... He wanders around our country for 2.5 hours and is not spotted, intercepted or shot down by anyone. He is crossing a distance of 200 km, as experts say. It means that the Polish anti-aircraft defence does not exist,” said the erstwhile Prime Minister. He added that the translation that the drone was flying besides low to detect it was naive.
Bronisław Komorowski responded to his words, who said that Miller “discovers America, which is long discovered.” In his opinion, Poland has not had adequate anti-missile and anti-aircraft defence systems for many years. He blamed, among another things, Antoni Macierewicz, who, in his time as Minister of Defence, “removed much of the programs”.
Leszek Miller spoke again in the remainder of the program. “If it is actual that the Russians wanted to test our anti-aircraft defence in this way, they already know that if there was a war, what should be done,” he said. “ There are only 100 specified drones released simultaneously and we have all the major cities in Poland demolished,” he added.
His words triggered the reaction of the erstwhile president. — Prime Minister, pity, the drone will not teardrop down the city or even its 1 thousandth,” Komorowski noted.
— Well, look at what happens in Ukraine with drones, said Miller.
— These are ballistic missiles, the erstwhile president replied to him.
