– We thank each of the 212,000 signed and all those active in the collection! This is simply a large chance for real, concrete protection of children and young people from this virtual threat! – stressed Marcin Perłowski, manager of the Center for Life and Family, Vice president of Ordo Iuris.

Members of the Polish Parliament already at the first reading of the bill on the protection of minors from pornographic content on the net directed him to work in committees.

Mec. Rafał Dorosinski, a typical of the Committee collecting signatures for the project, stressed that pornography is 1 of the most scandalous contemporary phenomena. He recalled that the average age in which children first come into contact with pornographic content is little than 11 years, and 1 in 4 teenagers declare their regular practice of watching pornographic content.

Representatives of all clubs supported the request to defend children and young people through pornography on the Internet. Parliamentarians besides debated the request and possibilities for introducing the solutions proposed in the draft.

It is besides worth noting that no of the clubs requested to reject the task during the discussion. Members did not object to the referral of the task to work in the Committee on Digitisation, Innovation and Modern Technology and the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs.

Parents have the right to request real support from the state in the fight for a pornographic net for their children. Just as they have the right to anticipate a space free of drugs, pedophilia, alcohol or gambling. Let us usage this chance to build at least this 1 coalition of goodwill around the welfare of children.... – said Dr. Dorosinski.

We will remind you that the draft Citizen Act "Stop Drug Pornography" was signed by 212 1000 people. However, the vast majority of Poles, nearly 80 percent, support the introduction of records that will prevent children from entering websites containing pornographic content.
