Andrzej Duda met with the ombudsman Marcin Wiączek in connection with the death of Barbara Skrzypek, a longtime associate of Jarosław Kaczyński. The president wants the D.A. under scrutiny.

“The president of Poland Andrzej Duda spoke present at the Presidential Palace with the Ombudsman Marcin Wiączek. During the meeting, the president expressed concern about the state of the regulation of law and the respect of human rights and the citizen in criminal proceedings," says the entry of the President's Chancellery published on Platform X.

“In connection with the death of Barbara Skrzypek president Andrzej Duda asked the Ombudsman to explain how the prosecutor’s office acted and to find whether standards of conduct and the rights of Barbara Skrzypek as a witness were respected.”

Let us remind you that Barbara Skrzypek died on March 15, 2 days after a fewer hours of interrogation at the prosecutor's office led by prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek. Her lawyer was not active in the procedure.
