Did Charles Nawrocki pay for public luxury with money? On 10 January 2025, in consequence to the “Election” questions, the current manager of the Museum of the Second planet War in Gdańsk wrote: “Director Karol Nawrocki used DELUX flat (116 sq mi) and in 3 cases from a double room. The intent and nature of the stay do not consequence from the documentation held by the Museum. manager Karol Nawrocki did not pay for his stay at the hotel‘.
Karol Nawrocki rented luxury apartments
As reported, "the email includes an accurate list of bookings made by today's PiS-backed presidential candidate".
"It turns out that Nawrocki initially enjoyed a double room. In 2018, he booked it twice for weekends and erstwhile a night from Monday to Tuesday. As of 9 October 2018, the director, with 1 exception erstwhile returning to his room, has moved to that apartment. Two-level with full equipment, 116 sq m. surface. By 3 October 2020 he makes 15 reservations, including 2 weekends. From 4 October 2020 to 1 April 2021, we have a series of reservations interrupted only by Christmas (December 24-28, 2021),” says Monday's "GW".
"GW" stated that "Nawrocki booked 19 stays in full between 2018 and 2020-21 until 182". “Together it is 201 days, including 197 in the apartment” — summarised.
The article “GW” shows that Nawrocki did not pay for his stay at the hotel “not a penny”. "With a maximum discount (80%), the price +employee+ for all bookings would be PLN 25.6 thousand, and at a 40% discount – PLN 51.2 thousand. Commercially, over PLN 120 thousand" is calculated.
It was noted that Nawrocki's home is about 5 km from the Museum.
