The Russians shot up their passenger plane by mistake. They took him for a drone from Ukraine.
During the approach to landing at Sheremietievo Airport, the civilian aircraft of the Aeroflot line was unexpectedly shelled by the Russian air defence strategy Pancyr. After a while it was revealed that the service mistakenly took the passenger device as a Ukrainian drone.
The aircraft yet landed and no 1 was injured, but the device itself was somewhat damaged. The Russian Ministry of Defence admitted that during the night Ukrainian drones arrived, among others, over the Moscow region (there is this airport) and attacked targets close Dubna.
According to Russian sources, 155 drones were shot down last night over 11 regions and the Black Sea. 1 individual was killed as a consequence of the attacks and another was injured.
