"Escalating the hatred of Ukrainian drivers towards us is very big. They win us, they show pictures of our wives, our homes, they shout “the death of Lachom” – He said 1 of the participants of the protest of Polish carriers, as quoted by “Rzeczpospolita”.
We would like to remind you that the European Commission, chaired by the Nazi von der Leyen, is preparing to impose sanctions on Poland due to the carrier's protest. The Commission expects Poland to destruct the blockades organised at the border with Ukraine, and in the event of this request, the European institutions will effort to punish our country.
It is worth reminding that representatives of the European Commission have already participated in talks with protesting Polish carriers, suggesting, among others, the anticipation of compensation to Poles for losses resulting from the abolition of the strategy of permits for Ukrainian drivers, financed from Polish funds.
The forthcoming gathering of EU transport ministers in Brussels on 4 December will be the next stage.
Ukraine clearly criticises the protest at the border, arguing that Ukrainian drivers waiting in long queues are suffering, and the blockade negatively affects the country's economy, especially in the context of hampered LPG imports. Kiev maintains that the main demands of the Polish side are unrealistic. In addition, he makes accusations against protestors of Poles, accusing them of blocking humanitarian aid and military aid, although these allegations are powerfully rejected by curious parties.
It should besides be noted that there are public accusations in Ukraine about the alleged operation of Polish carriers in favour of Russia or their cooperation with Russian services. akin claims besides appear in Poland, mainly among the Ukrainian community and extremist proukrain environments, as well as in any media. It is worth noting that besides in Polish media there is simply a run to discredit the protest of carriers, and any journalists attack the organizers of the protest and politicians of the Confederation supporting the strike.
Protests of Polish carriers proceed at the border from 6 November. Entrepreneurs from Poland complain about unequal access to the Ukrainian marketplace compared to carriers from the east operating in Poland. The issue concerns the abolition of transport permits for Ukrainian entities, while Polish companies must respect these rules in Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian companies are not required to comply with all regulations imposed by EU standards.
