
The last attendance evidence in the second circular of the presidential election was 30 years ago – in 1995. In this year's election, we have an chance to beat him and everything is going that way. PKW provided the first attendance data at the final phase of the presidential race. A lot more voters went to the polls than the first round!
The State Election Commission reported attendance in the second circular of the presidential election. By 12:00, 24.73 percent of eligible voters had voted at the polling stations.
For comparison, only 20.28 percent of voters voted in the first circular by 12:00.
The highest attendance was recorded in the Małopolskie province, where 27.27 percent of the eligible people voted by noon. Traditionally, the lowest attendance occurred in the Opole state – 21.01.1%.
In this election, we have a chance to break the 1995 attendance record. In the second circular of elections Lech Wałęsa and Aleksander Kwasniewski faced each other. 68.23 percent of Poles entitled to vote came to the polls.
Further information on attendance at 5 p.m. PKW is to be provided at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, June 1, Poland has presidential elections which, among the 2 candidates who entered the second round, Poles will elect the successor of Andrzej Duda. The vote runs from 7:00 a.m. Election venues will stay open until 21:00.
