"The joy of the wicked is short." What does the Palikot Empire teach us?

As the thunder of the bright net mainstream ran over the news about the arrest by CBA officers of Janusz Palikot. erstwhile politician of the Civic Platform, leader of the Palikot Movement and your D.A.'s Movement have placed 8 counts of committing crimes against respective 1000 people. The case concerns the bringing to an adverse regulation the property of the victims of about PLN 70 million. Thus, the dream dream of the “king of sparkling wines” of spectacular success in the alcohol manufacture became a collective nightmare. Why?

The past of an empire disaster created by scandalous politics began a fewer years ago. Following further election failures Palikot decided to return to business. Purchased from Mark Jakubiak in 2018, Browar Tenczynek was the beginning of a fresh venture. It consisted in raising money for the improvement of the task from crowdfunding collections, offering any benefits to lenders in return. The amount of amounts entrusted to a widely recognized character was driven by another people to invest in the thought of a business gig.

We can already say present that the measurement of "success" of the entrepreneur was his current debt. According to various data, Palikot took between 200 and 300 million PLN out of his pocket. According to media reports, the victim of the bottled victims was, among others, Olympic champions and the planet in ski runs Justyna Kowalczyk-Tekieli. The erstwhile partner of Palikot, “Kuba” of the Provincial, who could not have achieved specified a spectacular effect, was among the victims. Today, it is hard to find the impact on the level of subsequent collection from investors of the words said by the Provincial in the Sports Channel in December 2021: "(...) for example, our company, where we are shortly debuting on the stock exchange with Janusz Palikot and Tomek Czechowski, valued at giant money, means money that will make me from 2 generations forward a completely independent man."

When an alcohol ship of erstwhile politician began to sink in debt, the “King of TVN” left the deck, writing, among others, on Facebook (January 2024): “Everyone who joined the business due to my presence there I can compose a sincere apology. Like you, I trusted and like you I failed. And in this substance I am sad to admit – Yes it is my fault. I was played like an amateur. I feel foolish and ashamed.”

The public sprinkling of the Provincial's head with ash did not return the capital entrusted to the afraid and Palikot himself did not prevent the avalanche from later adverse decisions of the state institutions. Despite reports of the dramatic financial situation of the companies belonging to the "alcoholic holding", the businessman claimed that the ship built thanks to loans is inactive on the wave. In March 2024, during an interview in the editorial office “Faktu” he said: “ Everyone has already set up a “cross”, and so far no company has fallen. We're in trouble, we've lost the ability to rise money, we don't service current loans, but we haven't declared bankruptcy yet, or liquidated any company. I am inactive convinced that we are able not only to pay all the salaries of employees, but besides to give back in 5 years all that investors have invested in us.

At the moment, everything indicates that the alcohol ship commanded by Palikot will sink. The “Krzyżyk” was most likely 1 of the creditors on the entrepreneur’s venture. According to information available in the National Debt Register, the Krakow court on 30 September 2024, i.e. a fewer days before the detention of the erstwhile MP, secured the company's assets by establishing a temporary judicial supervisor. As the Business Insider explained in the text of Friday 4 October, “the setting up of a temporary judicial supervisor serves to safe the debtor’s assets at the phase of the insolvency and restructuring application. The primary task of the supervisor is to decently safe the debtor's assets during the proceedings. This concerns both the examination of the application for bankruptcy and the conduct of restructuring proceedings.’

Those who reject God will always stand against man

The book of occupation says: “The joy of the wicked is short, the happiness of the unfaithful 1 takes a moment, even though he is arrogant to scope up to heaven and contact the clouds with his head. It's going to go missing forever. Where is he? (Hi 20, 5 – 7). Janusz Palikot's acts include not only the adverse decree of respective 1000 victims. A fallen businessman was celebrated among the wider public for his efforts to remove the cross from the gathering hall. It was on his initiative in 2012 that a civilian suit against the Chancellery of the Sejm was received in the capital court in connection with the refusal of a photograph of the crucifix hanging at the seat of parliament. Although yet the politics of the court conflict lost, the "cross dispute" was profoundly embedded in the anti-Christian blade social revolt that he started.

Today, the “cross on the road” most likely puts many of the investors he has deceived. Of course, people misled must be compassionate, but on the another hand, the question arises: “What was to be expected of a man who could be said for the psalmist that there is no God before his eyes (cf. Ps 54:5)?” Referring to the words of Psalm 54, Fr Wojciech Węgrzyniak in his regular “jutub” Bible commentary on “DamyzGodCouncil” (25 Sunday ordinary-B) pointed to the existence of an observable rule that shows that if individual rejects God, he will always be against another man. Similarly, the believer will not be able to do any harm to others, and it should not be more pleasant for the justice to pay the bill to the justice from his transgressions. As the clergyman, a believer in Christ who harms others, thus shows his disbelief. actual religion in Jesus, as Fr.Hungary said, will always manifest love for his neighbor.

Therefore, do not be amazed present by those who have been deceived by the promises of Janusz Palikot, for as God’s Word teaches us: “He says to a fool in his heart: There is no God. They are corrupt, they do hideous things, there is no specified thing as doing good" (Ps 53:2).
