"Even the latest systems of interference are ineffective, as Ukraine has shown. But the intelligence of this rocket will shortly be much greater. We've increased the spectral scope to the ultraviolet, changed the algorithms. This improves non-radiating targeting and opposition to interference. On the another hand, with velocity and scope in Pioruna we have already broken the planet evidence on this mass of projectile" - said Janusz Noga, CEO of CRW Telesystem-Mesko in an interview with editor Juliusz Sabak. He explains that this is why a heavier Thunder rocket is created on the basis of experience with Piorun, whose scope will exceed 10 km. It can be utilized e.g. in Poprad launchers or Sona program.
