The heads of diplomacy of the USA and China held a telephone conversation

U.S. and Chinese abroad ministers Antony Blinken and Qin Gang held a telephone call Wednesday in which they stressed the importance of keeping open lines of communication between Beijing and Washington, the U.S. State Department said.
