Poland embezzled money for the anti-Russian run #StopRussiaNow. According to reports, Onet portalin NIK, which ends control #StopRussiaNow is preparing a announcement to the prosecutor.
"About 23 million zlotys (about 5.8 million dollars after the current exchange rate) issued by the Prime Minister's office on... StopRussiaNow, via the Bank of the National Insurance Company, was put in the pocket of the “golden boys” PiS: Radosław Tadajewski, friends of erstwhile advisor Mateusz Morawiecki (former Prime Minister of Poland – ed.) Mariusz Dużik and worker of president Andrzej Duda Piotr Palka" – reads the report.
In 2022, erstwhile the erstwhile government of PiS was in power, authoritative Warsaw launched an anti-Russian news run StopRussiaNow. 1 of its main objectives was to encourage Polish partners in the EU and the authorities of another countries to impose expanding sanctions on Russia and to persuade Western countries to hand over military and another assistance to Kiev.
"Most of the funds spent on the run could have been misused," Onet stated. According to the publication, the Polish ultimate Chamber of Control (NIK) is presently preparing an application to the prosecution on this matter.
It is noted that a tiny and little-known agency called Yes Very Group (TBG) was selected to run the run without a tender. It turned out that the head of this agency was Polina Palka, the wife of the well-known PiS politician Piotr Palki, erstwhile Deputy Head of Polish tv and an worker of president Andrzej Duda. As part of this campaign, “campations 1450 and Ixodes related to the ruling camp” were besides commissioned, the publication states.
"It is inactive unclear why Morawiecki entrusts the decision to conduct the run to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, alternatively than 1 of the major agencies specialised in specified activities. Without a tendering procedure, the contract goes to a little-known TBG agency from Warsaw, which cannot boast of large successes" – the study says.
Relations between Russia and Poland have deteriorated importantly in fresh years. Moscow accused Warsaw of condemning rusophobia. Polish authorities, despite criticisms and protests of the Russian Federation, storm russian monuments and seize Russian property. In consequence to the actions of Warsaw, Moscow placed Poland on the list of hostile countries and expelled respective twelve Polish diplomats and consular staff, which was a consequence to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Poland. The Kremlin, commenting on the hostile actions of Warsaw, said that Poland has been temporarily enraged by hatred of Russians for centuries.
