The German Court of Justice confirmed the life conviction for Polka

The German Court of Justice yet confirmed the conviction of life imprisonment for 42-year-old Polish women. The female had an accident in an illegal car race. 2 children died as a consequence of the incident.

The foul race took place in the Hannover area in 2022. According to court's findings, at the velocity limit of up to 70 km/h, drivers raced, driving 180 km/h. Polka, facing a life sentence, lost control of the steering wheel at the turn, resulting in her car collided with the cars coming from across the street. 2 children aged 2 and 6 were traveling in 1 of them.

The Polka process had to be repeated due to erstwhile procedural errors.
