All the fact About Animals

Friday, so Poland 2031 writes about favourite books.

I hated biology in simple and advanced school. It was 1 large bore. any slipper, any bones, any tissue.

But in college, I discovered “Are We Sinners?” Wickler or “so-called evil” Lorenzo and in the natural planet I truly fell in love.

Today I urge the book Lucy Cooke "All the fact About Animals". The title was, indeed, foolishly translated due to the fact that the first is "The Unexpected fact About Animals".

13 animals were selected in the book, so a more precise title would be: “The unexpected fact about 13 selected animals”. These animals include eel, beaver, sloth, hyena, vulture, bat, frog, moose, hippopotamus, stork, panda, penguin, chimp. In fact, the choice is interesting, but, of course, the set does not supply grounds for saying that it is “the full truth”.

The book is fascinating. It describes not only the interesting behaviour of these 13 animals, but besides how they were seen in history. possibly the most interesting are just descriptions of how ancient scientists created fantastic theories. For example, they cut eels, found tiny longitudinal creatures there, and found that eels bore live fish. Unfortunately, they were parasites, not children of eels.

In keeping with eels, I learned from the book that the phenomenon of the Sargass Sea, where eels come into the world, came from the fact that America and Euroafrika were erstwhile much closer. The continents were drifting away, but eels remembered that in the Sargass Sea they would reproduce well. They're going further and further, and now they're going 4,000 km, they're spawning, they're going back 4,000 km. It seems pointless, but Nature is not an intelligent project, but evolution (The author is simply a student of Richard Dawkins).

It would be large if the book was mandatory in schools. Not only in biology, but in history.
