34-year-old Takahiro Shiraishi, known as “the Twitter killer”, was subjected to a secret execution under the judgement of a court condemning him to death penalty. This is the first execution in Japan since July 2022.
Japanese was sentenced to death for execution and dismemberment of 9 people. The crime was scheduled to take place in 2017. The victim's bodies were stored in his own flat close Tokyo.
