Buspas reserved exclusively for bus vehicles, electrical cars aimed at public roads. If public transport supporters organized a protest, they could put this slogan on the banners. The electromobility capital has just completed 1 of the most crucial rights for electrical cars. But this is only the beginning.
It was essential to encourage people to control to electromobility. Norway, 1 of the pioneers and a country where electrical cars gained the top popularity, applied an incentive strategy on specified a large scale that the acquisition of a combustion car was considered a whimsical expense for people with excessive financial resources. Subsidies, VAT exemption, free parking, exemption from the yearly charge for the usage of roads, the anticipation to usage bus lanes – all these measures have made Norwegians massively control to electrical cars that have dominated sales statistic for respective years. Of course, vicious people can say that any rich country can make an electromobility paradise, but let's put it aside. The Norwegians now have so many electrical vehicles that they are gradually withdrawing from privileges that have proved to be eternal. As of May 6, electrical cars have lost access to 1 of the most crucial ones, which counterbalanced their position with public communications. It hurts, oh, it hurts.
Electric cars and buses – this is no longer the perfect combination. Like in Poland, Norwegian electrical car drivers could besides usage bus lanes to decision more efficiently around the city. I personally appreciate this privilege due to the fact that it importantly reduces the time of travel through the city. In accordance with the rule that electrical cars are emission-free vehicles, it was considered that they should usage dedicated public transport infrastructure. There are comparatively fewer electrical cars in my household Lublin, so I do not see the busses being besides crowded, but there are quite a few them in Warsaw, although they inactive do not affect traffic flow negatively. However, in Oslo, there was a situation where a advanced volume of electrical cars caused congestion in the bus lanes, resulting in delays in bus running.
What was originally meant to improve traffic in the city became a origin of paralysis of public transportation. The number of electrical cars is besides large for Oslo to handle. Bus passengers began to see that they were treated as second-class citizens due to the fact that they had to travel in crowded buses and stand in traffic caused by electrical cars that occupied busses. Therefore, from May 6 in Oslo and Akershus electrical cars cannot usage buspases. The prohibition shall apply 24/7, regardless of the presence of passengers in the vehicle. Thus ends the privilege that lasted for 21 years. Owners of electrical cars are encouraged by the Norwegian Public Road Administration to leave vehicles at home and usage public transport, bicycles or walking.
Tymon was right all along. For a long time, he claimed that the problem was not just diesel cars, but all private road communications. It is she who is making problem for decision-makers due to the fact that she allows any independence. At first, the communicative was promoted that combustion cars are the origin of all the evils in the world, that it is due to them that we endure from lung disease, and together with us our planet dies. The medicine was to be electrical cars that do not emit exhaust gas, and any negative emissions during their production do not substance to us now. However, we now learn that electrical cars are besides a problem due to the fact that their number is besides large. After all, we could have foreseen that switching to electrical cars would not consequence in a simplification in the number of vehicles on the road. Now the authorities are starting to respond to the question of electromobility. This begins gently, with taking privileges, but it will surely go on. Until we yet have only buses left, but they will besides have their limitations.
