The French government is speeding up efforts to reduce dependence on abroad technologies and build its own digital ecosystem. During an interministerial gathering held on 8 April by DINUM, plans were presented, including a gradual departure from Windows to Linux and extended improvement of public administration IT infrastructure. The initiative involves representatives of government, administration and the private sector and aims to increase state control over key digital systems and make the European technology market.
