Last week Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with the deregulation squad headed by InPost's president, Rafał Brzoska. The subject of the talks was a summary of measures to simplify the rules and remove unnecessary administrative barriers.

300 deregulation proposals What's going to change into law?

The government has already received 111 deregulation proposalsAnd by the end of April, there should be even 300. The first changes could be made to the Sejm in May. Key proposals include:

  • Extending mediation in administrative matters,
  • PIT box for more companies,
  • Shorter VAT reimbursement periods,
  • Simplified reporting to taxation offices,
  • Better conditions for public tenders,
  • Clearer electricity bills for companies and households,
  • Accelerating RES investments and expanding the limits for photovoltaics.

First Deregulation Package – 47 solutions for entrepreneurs

On Wednesday, a three-day session of the Sejm was launched to deal with Members first deregulation package prepared by Ministry of improvement and Technology. Thursday will be the first reading of the bill that has mitigate economical and administrative provisions.

Work has been going on for months. This is 47 solutions developed jointly with the social partners. Together we have diagnosed the most crucial obstacles that hinder freedom to conduct business – said Minister of improvement Krzysztof Paszyk in the program ‘Guest of Events’ in Polsat News.

No more excessive checks?

One of the key demands is limitation of controls in companies. – For the smallest operators, we reduce the duration of checks from 12 to 6 days. We besides depend on the hazard of possible irregularities. If a company hasn't been caught in violations, why bother it all year or all 2 years? explained Paszyk.

What about deregulation?

The government announces that further packages of changes will be introduced successively. Rafał Brzoska announced that by the end of April the band would present 300 concrete proposalsto improve business functioning and make life easier for citizens.

Are the fresh regulations actually free business and accelerate economical development? The first results can be seen in the coming months.
