The full affair broke out thanks to a text published by Virtual Poland. We could read in it that Deputy Minister of Justice Bartłomiej Ciążyński went on a household vacation to Slovenia utilizing a service limousine. Plus, he refueled twice, paying with a business card.

Initially, Ciążyński denied the allegations, claiming that he had the right to usage the vehicle besides for private purposes during his vacation and abroad, and that the refueling was paid for with his own funds. After a fewer hours, however, he admitted to utilizing a business car that was not his intended intent and apologized for his actions, explaining his deficiency of experience and ignorance. He promised to return the money.
