Czech Republic has started formal process of buying F-35A Lightning II

On October 4, the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic reported that a formal bid request (Letter of Request) was sent to the US administration on the anticipation to acquisition 24 multi-purpose Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II combat aircraft.
