The "cremation crisis" in Norway continues. Despite this, the state does not want private facilities

Faced with the increasing request for cremation in Norway, the private company Sjond AS has been denied by the authorities to set up fresh crematoria. Its representative, Per Firing, claims that the decision is against Norwegian law. The ministry rejected 9 applications from private companies, citing the applicable regulations. At the same time, work on a fresh law on crematoria was announced.
