– Will the governing coalition of Poland last to the constitutional word of parliamentary elections?
– Why wouldn't she survive? Any coalition which was not electoral, but only became election after election, is in permanent dispute. It is adequate to remember what happened during the governments of PO-PSL, PiS-LPR-Self-defense, SLD-PSL or AWS-Union of Freedom, where virtually all day brought conflicts between coalitions and inside AWS. The experiences of 1993 and 2007 show that the break-up of the coalition and the earlier elections proved to be detrimental to those forces who sought to do so. The shortening of the Sejm's word of office would mean the end of many Members' political activities.
– Each coalition is primarily united by the power, that is, the positions that the politicians of the ruling parties can take. In this case, there is inactive aversion to the Law and Justice.
– Modern politics are professionalized and pragmatic. Emotional factors only play a complementary role. No 1 will hazard losing power due to any individual injury. In my opinion, the most crucial question is: how long will the coalition have from voters who wanted to remove the Law and Justice from power, carte blanche. All indications are no longer than the presidential election. Let us remember that, contrary to political rhetoric in Europe and Poland, the programme differences between the main parties are comparatively small. PSL and Platform belong to the same international. They have already created a government and in a immense part of local governments have held power since respective term. On the another hand, the Left began to base its identity on cultural issues, and due to the fact that the Platform approached specified attitudes, so there are no large differences between them.
