It has become a permanent fixture in the capital's skyline and the map of Warsaw. The Forum Hotel was the second post-war skyscraper, after the Palace of Culture and Science, to dare to exceed the 100-meter mark. The structure, which reeked of Western luxury during the communist era, became an urban icon, hosting many celebrities.
