Historic train station buildings are a challenge – it is frequently hard to find a fresh usage for them. However, many of them are architectural gems that are worth saving. This destiny has befallen, for example, the Michigan Central Station building in Detroit, USA. Until recently, it was a derelict building. Soon, a luxury hotel will open in the erstwhile train station interiors.
