"Social initiatives related to border protection stem from the crisis of the state and its services, especially mediocre information policy," Bishop Krzysztof Zadarko, president of the Polish Episcopal Conference's Council for Migrants and Refugees, told the Polish Press Agency (PAP). Earlier, Bishop Emeritus Jan Długosz of Częstochowa entrusted the "defenders of Polish borders" to the parent of God, which sparked much controversy. Robert Bąkiewicz of the Border defence Movement called it a "historic moment."
