Official start of the election campaign, and Trzaskowski already loses support

Last week the talker of the Sejm, Simon Holovnia, announced that the presidential election would be held on 18 May. The second circular will take place on 1 June. As the presidential election deadline is 18 May, the election calendar will stipulate that by 24 March (Monday) there will be time to notify the PCW of the creation of election committees for presidential candidates. Trzaskowski loses support

Although the presidential run has not yet officially begun, candidates are already known. Moreover, according to the latest opinion24 poll for RMF FM, the difference in support between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki decreased significantly. The president of Warsaw inactive leads the ranking, but his support fell by almost 9 percent points compared to the erstwhile study. Currently, 28.8% of respondents would vote as a candidate, which is simply a crucial decrease compared to the December course conducted by Opinion 24. It was then that Rafał Trzaskowski received support at 38.6%.

Karol Nawrocka inactive ranks second in the study. The president of IPN intends to vote 22.6% of the respondents. In the case of Nawrocki, too, there was a decrease in support, although little crucial than in Trzaskowski – 23.3% of respondents had previously wanted to vote for it.

As for the remaining candidates, the 3rd place included Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation) – 13.3%; on the 4th Simon Hołownia (Poland 2050) – 7.2%; Magdalena Biejat (Levice) – 3.9%; Marek Jakubiak (Free Republicans) – 1.4%; Piotr Szumlewicz – 1%; Marek Wocha (Unpartisan Local Government) – 0.5%.
