Soon the "Iron Defender" exercise will begin in Poland. 34,000 soldiers from all types of armed forces will participate in the maneuvers that will take place in different parts of the country. Therefore, the General Staff of the Polish Army made a peculiar appeal to the residents.
The General Staff reported that in September's cryptonym exercises "Iron Defender" will take part in approx. 34,000 soldiers, both Polish and allied, equipped with about 600 units of equipment.
Soldiers will represent all types of armed forces including Air Force, Navy, peculiar Forces and Territorial Defence Forces. The main forces will exhibit brigades of 18. Divisions including the 1st Warsaw Armoured Brigade, 21st Podhalan firearm Brigade and 19th. Mechanized Brigade from Lublin and logistics regiment and battalion of unit command.
