Poland spends more on the military present than any another NATO country in relation to its economy. In the face of the war in Ukraine, Donald Tusk's government consistently raises defence spending, explaining this by the request to defend the country from possible aggression from Russia. However, more and more voices inform that this arms race is taking place at the expense of other, as urgent needs of society as care for people with disabilities, public wellness or future pensions.
