The 3rd edition of the Fantastic Talented competition begins!

Fantastic competition The Talented have necessarily already tied up with Pyrkon, co-creating an amazing atmosphere of the festival. The erstwhile editions have been very warm, so we are happy to announce the beginning of the 3rd edition of the competition!

Fantastic Talented is simply a competition aimed at authors, and since this edition besides cartoonists and illustrators who are only debuting or inactive little celebrated on the Polish fantasy scene. Its aim is to advance fresh creators who have not yet had the chance to break into a broader awareness of readers, and whose talent surely deserves attention.

The 3rd edition is designed for artists debuting in 2025 and people who released up to the 4th position in fantasy, science-fiction, horror, fantastic children's and youth literature or comic book about fantasy, science-fiction, horror or cyberpunk. According to the rules, in the category “Fantastic Book” are accepted:

• novels,
• novels,
• a collection of stories.

In the category "Fantastic Children's and Youth's Literature":

• fairy tales,
• stories,
• novels,
• novels,
• illustrated works,
• Poetry books.

And in the "Fantastic Comics" category:

• miniseries,
• one-shots,
• continuous comic books,
• graphic novels.

As in erstwhile editions, there will besides be a plebiscite for the Pyrkonowicz Prize. It will let Pyrkon participants and sympathizers to vote in their opinion for the best work among those selected by the jury.

Applications for the 3rd edition of the competition Fantastic Talented will be opened on 10 April 2025, and you will be able to submit your work until 30 November 2025! To participate, simply complete the form contained in the rules.

Speaking of rules, read it carefully! The competition was expanded to include 2 fresh categories and, consequently, appropriate regulatory changes were introduced. The condition of participation is to accept all the rules of the competition!
