Thales wins in the home country of Saaba radar

The agreement concluded with Thales by the Swedish Defence Procurement Agency FMV (Försvarets materielverk) may surprise. The Swedes purchased respective Ground Master 200 MM/C (Multi Mission Compact) radars, with the anticipation of utilizing their own Giraffe 4A radio-location stations produced by the Swedish Saab company. The surprise is all the more so, that outside the Swedish arms manufacture there will be around SEK 1 billion (i.e. about PLN 390 million).
