The LOYAL LED 2025 exercise, which was carefully planned and prepared over the past 18 months, was focused on activities in the terrestrial environment. The unit liable for organising the exercise was the Allied Land Command, while the NATO Training Centre in Bydgoszcz was tasked with conducting it. The exercise took place in a realistic, multi-domain, rapidly changing environment, covering political, military, economic, social, information and critical infrastructure areas, based on NATO's defence plans. Participants faced demanding tasks provided by consequence cells, alleged consequence cells, liable for individual areas. The challenges provided by the exercise cell as an opponent (so-called OPFOR – Opposing Force) included all operational domains – land, air, sea, space, and cybernetic. With this scenario, participants were able to verify the procedures in place, their cognition and skills, as well as destruct weaknesses, thereby confirming their operational readiness to carry out the tasks assigned.
