Thank you very much for sharing the poem “In memory of the old building”.
We besides want to add that in August 2010, Fr Ignacy Skorupka was posthumously awarded the Order of the White Eagle. The highest award in Poland was received by the priest's niece.

In pictures, Fr Ignacy's prayer book with his own signature and the pictures he wore in this book. They can be seen in the Field Ordinaria Museum in the underground of the WP Field Chair.

For respective years now, the celebrated tenement has been threatening with bricked windows after all its inhabitants have been removed. She has survived, but her further destiny is inactive unknown, and she is appalling those Warsawans who know her remarkable history.

2016 update:

Mazowiecki Wojewódzki Preservator of Monuments Barbara Jezierska entered in the registry of monuments a complex of buildings, i.e. a tenement home and buildings, located in Warsaw at 3 Ciełnie Street, along with the premises and chapel.

The conservator emphasizes that nearly 1.5 1000 people have requested the entry of the property in the register. According to the conservator, they acted in the belief that “only an entry in the registry of monuments can supply effective protection against demolition”. "So many expressions of public support for entering in the registry of monuments of this squad justify the social interest of a crucial rank", the MWKZ informs.

We request to enter the building at 3 Ciełnej Street in the registry of monuments. The picket, to not be demolished, but entered in the register, will be held on Thursday 13 August at 12 noon at the corner of Smolna Street and Nowy Światu, under the seat of the Provincial Monument Conservator.
