Last year's reports on Ukraine's supply of U.S.-produced air defence systems, utilized by Taiwan's armed forces, confirm. It was in 2023 – in the mediate of U.S. officials – that an agreement was to be concluded between the Ukrainian and Taiwan authorities on the provision of HAWK air defence systems to Kiev. As “Forbes” points out, citing sources at the Pentagon, Taiwanese MIM-23 HAWK (Homing All-the-Way Killer) missiles, as well as their launchers and radars, are to supplement HAWK kits that the Ukrainians had already received from Americans and Spaniards.
