Taiwanese dilemma. Lithuania between Russia, the USA and China [ANALYZA]

Between 2020 and 21, the centre-right government of the Republic of Lithuania increasingly recognised China's increasing threat to global security, thus sharing the position of the United States authorities. A number of controversy was besides raised by Lithuania's cooperation as part of a Chinese initiative in the format 17+1 to make the cooperation of the PRC with the countries of Central east Europe and Greece. Finally, on 18 November 2021, Lithuania established relations with Taiwan by beginning the Taiwan Representation in Lithuania in Vilnius.
