A puzzle that became a hit among net users
Five akin geometric figures, and only 1 of them doesn't fit the rest. This riddle was expected to be a prank and a gag of Russian mathematician Tani Howanova, who, as she herself admitted years ago, did not like puzzles in which to indicate an unmatched element. However, a unusual coincidence made Bill Gates himself curious in this task, which, if he believed the rumors, took as many as 30 seconds to solve them. And so the puzzle overnight gained publicity and popularity among fans of mathematical quizzes.
What's that? There are 5 geometric figures in the picture. They are all set in random order (in the net you can find them in different colors and order, but it is not important). The task is to indicate 1 figure that does not fit the whole.

Many are betting on the wheel. But here's another criterion.
The mathematical puzzle at first glance seems easy. What doesn't fit? Many people unthinkably throw that wheel. But that's the incorrect answer. The answer is frequently that the square without borders. But that's not what the mystery author meant.

So what is the correct answer? Of course, it's the red square in the frame, which is figure one.
As the author of this puzzle explains, each of the figures has different features: color, shape, frame and size. For all another figures, only 4 of them have a changed feature:

Figure 3: has a different shape.
Figure 4: has a different color.
Figure 5: has a different size.
