The grim paradox is that at the time of the last election politicians representing themselves as defenders of democracy powerfully urged them not to participate in the referendum. I do not realize the joy of those who are glad that Parliament will be rejuvenated, that the fundamental issues for the nation will be co-decided by twenty-year-olds. Isn't it a small early? Politics requires knowledge, experience, and wisdom, and these are acquired over the years of life. I am not the only 1 who believes that the age of voters, as well as candidates for parliament and senate, should be raised to, for example, 30 years. On the margins, I would add that the same should apply to judges.
And most importantly, to explain to those elected that parliamentarians have responsibilities towards society. You should be an MP or a senator not to enjoy privileges, but to perfect our common world. If any people stay in parliament for respective term, they most likely know small about a planet where many citizens face difficulties to survive. possibly there should be a law that does not let more than 2 terms?
