Sweden will support Ukraine with fresh generation artillery

Ukraine has received a full of 8 cannonhaubic Archers from Sweden so far. These vehicles were equipped with the 45th Artillery Brigade, which had previously used, inter alia, the [M777 drawn](https://defence24.pl/industrial/do-m777-return-to-production). Their main usage is to conduct counter-battery fire, in which they are to work very well due, among others, to advanced mobility and importance. Now Swedish defence minister Pål Jonson announced that as part of the 18th military support package Ukraine would receive an additional 18 cannonhaubic Archer and another 5 artillery ARTHUR radars ([at least 3 of this kind of constructions went to Kiev from the British and Norwegians](https://defence24.pl/war-on-Ukrainian-report-special-defence24/Norwegian-esle-Ukrainian-artillerie-rakietowa-ale-jaka)).
