The territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw obtained approval to charge Grzegorz Braun with 7 crimes. As Minister Adam Bodnar explained, the substance concerns, among others, violations of physical inviolability and insulting of the doctor, acts of hooligans and incidents in the Sejm, including insulting the spiritual symbol and the usage of force against the intervening person.
Who will Braun support?
The answer to the question of who Grzegorz Braun will support in the second circular of elections is not easy. On Tuesday, the Political Committee of the Confederation of the Polish Crown published on platform X a list of expectations for candidates competing in the second circular of presidential elections. Grzegorz Braun's group called for the candidates to clearly declare that they would be guided solely by the Polish national interest. The demands included, among others, opposition to sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine, rejection of the EU's migration pact and the Green Deal, abolition of the coercion of vaccination and settlement of the actions of the authorities from the pandemic period.
Braun during the reign of Mateusz Morawiecki remained in a heated dispute with the United Right camp. For his controversial actions in the Sejm, he was repeatedly punished by PiS marshals, and his statements and actions towards wellness ministers caused scandal.
