New Oak, 8–21 September 2025. More than 170 soldiers of the 103rd Light Infantry Battalion from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski participated in a fourteen-day integrated training held at the premises of the Police Training Centre in Nowa Dęba.
Polygon classes were a summary of the erstwhile stages of specialist and skirmish training. Soldiers accommodated in tents, frequently fed in field conditions, were trained in conditions as close as possible to the reality of combat activities.
Various training modules
The program included, among others, green tactics in unconventional activities, bomb and chemical training, TC3 – tactical rescue, firefights according to the fresh shooting program, emergency training, a course preparing shooting instructors. The implemented modules supply certification for subsequent training stages – the rapper and the advanced, depending on the needs of individual companies.
Final examination – tactical loop
The item of the training was the tactical loop conducted on September 20. The soldiers began the exam by firing a MSBS Grot rifle, and then, divided into sections, held a 14-kilometre march with combat tasks. During it, they performed exercises in assault, evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield, overcoming field obstacles, and tasks in the field of green tactics and topography. The test lasted nearly 16 hours and allowed to verify both individual and squad training.
Verification and interaction
– Fourteen days of intensive training in polygonal conditions allows not only to test the skills of soldiers, but besides to truly play them in the interaction. It's a applicable test of readiness. – said Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz, commander of the 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade.
Importance of training
Integrated training is 1 of the key forms of education in the Territorial Defence Forces. Each WOT soldier erstwhile a year holds a fourteen-day training ground to consolidate the acquired skills, their applicable application and preparation for further stages of training. This besides enables shootings of varying degrees of complexity, which importantly increases the level of combat readiness of territories.
