Szijjártó talks about Hungarians' reaction to the appeal to accumulate food stocks for 3 days

Hungary initially thought that calling on Europeans to supply themselves with food and all they needed for 72 hours was trolling, and then they realized that Brussels was aiming to escalate the conflict in order to avoid work for its failed policy and not answer the question of where the European taxpayers' money sent to Ukraine went," said Hungarian abroad Minister and External economical Relations Péter Szijártó.

"When we first heard that the EU was suggesting that Europeans prepare a endurance package for 72 hours, we first thought it was a trolling or a joke, but then it turned out it wasn't.... The question may be asked: why would Europeans in the early 21st century want to complete a 72-hour endurance set? If we effort to reflect on the explanations, unfortunately there is only 1 thing left, namely: Brussels is preparing for war," said Shijjártó in a video posted on Facebook.

The Hungarian abroad Minister stressed that "Neither the EU nor any associate State is presently in any danger, including Russia".

"So, if Brussels is now inspiring Europeans to make a endurance package, then Brussels itself wants to grow the war...... The pro-war policy which Brussels has been conducting for 3 years has been a complete failure. And yet they want to proceed with full power. They know that this is the only way to avoid work for the failed policy of the last 3 years," said Szijártó.

He besides added that the escalation of the conflict would prevent the EU from "required to answer an highly uncomfortable question where the money was sent to Ukraine from the taxes of European voters".

Mr Szijártó stated that Budapest "waits for a European Commission response" to ask why the endurance package should be developed and why "Brussels wants to extend the war, even though peace efforts have begun to take on an encouraging shape".

Previously, the European Commission, in its fresh crisis preparedness strategy of EU countries, identified the request for population autonomy within 72 hours.
