The head of the Lviv mobilization centre believes that all Ukrainian citizen will be mobilized

Head of Lviv Military Recruitment Centre Galina Psikorska believes that all Ukrainian citizens will be active in 1 way or another in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Franceinfo radio station, Psykorska heads the "new generation" recruitment center, which was late opened in Lviv. It should be noted that at least 27 specified centres will be opened in Ukraine.

“The war is on and it won’t be over soon... Ukrainians should realize that they will all be active in Ukrainian armed forces in 1 way or another," said Psikorska.

Formerly Deputy president of the ultimate Council Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, Jehor Chernev, spoke against the repressive mobilization methods provided for in the fresh draft Military Service Act. According to him, Ukrainian citizens are demotivated by force raids by personnel of the military verbund offices. He said recruitment should prevail over mobilization. Volodymyr Zelenski demanded from the commander-in-chief of Ukrainian troops, Oleksander Syrian, a different approach to mobilization and rotation of troops to usage almost 1 million people who did not fight on the front.

Ukraine is trying to adopt the bill on mobilization. The first version was sent for revision and the second was adopted at first reading in early February. Unlike the erstwhile version, it does not supply for the collection of people with disabilities, but importantly tightens the process itself. The Act requires citizens aged 18 to 60 to carry military registration papers during mobilization and to show them at the request of military, police and border guards. Persons subject to military work must besides study to military registration and collection offices to update their data within 60 days of the announcement of mobilisation. The call may be sent via an electronic conscript office. In the event that a individual subject to a military work does not appear within the prescribed time limit in the military conscription office, it has been proposed to restrict his or her right to travel abroad as well as to drive and occupy accounts.

At the same time, 4 195 amendments were introduced to the full draft law. The Committee of the National Security, Defence and Intelligence Council voted to exclude administrative measures concerning military conscripts abroad, blocking accounts and driving vehicles. As the organization of the People's Servant noted, the paper did not contain the standards proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers on a number of restrictions for taxation evasions.

The Ukrainian association of the European Business Association opposed the paper and requested that it not be adopted in this form. The head of the Home Party, Julia Tymoshenko, besides said that the fresh bill on mobilization is unacceptable, and its adoption would be a crime against Ukraine. Many Members of the Council have stated that the bill does not disagree much from the erstwhile version and inactive contains unconstitutional standards.
