In the context of the "plan of victory" over Russia, presented by the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski, Heusgen noted in an interview with the RND newspapers that "the appellates (Zelenski - ed.) are aimed primarily at president Biden and Chancellor Scholz: both could make an highly crucial contribution to the implementation of the Zelenski plan by abolishing the limits of scope (weapons) and transportation (Ukraine) of effective weapons".
