16-year-old Yehor S., who brutally attacked the bodyguard with a knife, escaped from the Youth Education Centre. His victim fears revenge and calls for justice.
On 2 June 2024, dramatic events occurred in 1 of the clubs in Szczecin. The 40-year-old Paul S., working as a bodyguard, was attacked by 16-year-old Yegor S. A Ukrainian teenager who has been causing fights since the beginning of the evening, yet threw himself at a man with a knife.
"They utilized to choice on others playing in the place. They were so pushy towards another people that I had to ask them out 3 times, but they came back all time.” – Paweł S. reports in an interview with ‘Fact’.
A bloody attack and a fight for life
When the safety defender decided to definitely remove the aggressive guy, there was a struggle. Yehor S. pulled out a knife and stabbed a man in the shoulder, sternum and hand. The wounds were so severe that Paul S. went to the infirmary where doctors fought for his life.
The court decided to place a teenager in the Youth Education Centre in Szczecin, where he was to wait for his sentence. He's even facing 20 years in prison. However, Yehor S. fled the facility on May 12, 2025.
“He feels unpunished” – the victim fears for his family
Paul S. is shocked that the perpetrator went to a facility where juvenile delinquents who committed lighter offences are present.
"The last thing I heard was that on May 12 he escaped from the Youth Centre. I'm amazed he didn't go to another facility for what he did to me. I found out that where he was, teenagers go for insignificant offenses” – says ‘Fact’.
The victim fears that a fugitive may search revenge.
"I fear now that he may want revenge for being there and that my loved ones may fall victim to him. He may feel unpunished due to the fact that if he has not been punished so far, what will halt him?” – asked the despairing man.
Arrest and manhunt warrant
The Szczecin territory Court has already issued a warrant to detain and bring Yehor S. to the plant. Police are conducting an intensive search.
