Political tensions in transatlantic relations for Donald Trump's presidency make many European states ask themselves whether the US can reduce military support for Europe or usage it as a tool of pressure. They fear, among another things, that the Americans will halt updates of the "computer brain" of F-35 fighters, which already own 11 European NATO countries, including Poland. Meanwhile, Gijs Tuinman, Dutch Secretary of State for Defence, claims it is no problem – "the F-35 strategy can 'break' like an iPhone and upload its own software".
