Warsaw residents can hear short sounds of alarm sirens in the coming days. It is an component of the reception of the modernized Alert and informing strategy of Population, supervised by the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

Until 19 September, sirens can be launched for a fewer seconds as part of tests and checking the correct operation of the alleged Alarm Points. As the service emphasizes, these are not signals associated with any real threat.
For the record, the alarm to the population is announced with a 3-minute modulated signal (variable), while its cancellation means a 3-minute continuous signal.
