According to the information given on 31 December 2024 by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Paul Bejad, the Navy received an "at the end of the year" submarine AUV62-AT (Acoustic Target) along with external equipment. This is the consequence of an agreement worth about PLN 30 million signed by the Agency of Armed Forces on 16 December 2022 with the Swedish Saab company. In this way, the Polish Armed Forces can now carry out training tasks related to combating submarines, utilizing an autonomous unmanned strategy instead.
