The Polish Episcopal Conference announced that the main celebrations related to the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Queen of Poland celebrated on 3 May, this year will be held the day before. The decision is related to V Easter Sunday, which is on 3 May.
The main celebrations of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Queen of Poland will take place on 2 May at Jasna Góra Summit.
The Holy Mass will begin on 2 May at 11 am under the leadership of Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda.
The Permanent Council of the Polish Episcopal Conference will meet at Jasna Góra on 1 May to discuss current pastoral issues and preparations for 405. Plenary Assembly of KEP.

The feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Queen of Poland was established by Pope Benedict XV in 1920 at the request of Polish bishops after Poland regained independency in 1918. It was established on 3 May, in remembrance of the vows of the Lviv king Jan Kazimierz, who entrusted Poland with the care of Our woman during the Swedish flood.
