The feast of white and red in Brzesk with the Polish Army

The celebrations of Flag Day of the Republic of Poland, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, began at Kazimierz Wielki Square in Brzesk. Then the inhabitants of this tiny Polish town celebrated together with the Polish Army on the grounds around the Regional Cultural and Library Centre.

Minister of National Defence during a speech in the centre of Brzeska recalled that Flag Day of the Republic of Poland For 20 years he has been on the calendar of holidays and patriotic events. It is worth noting that the 18th Bielski Launch and Assault Battalion 6 BPD was the first to issue a change in the peace mission after Poland joined NATO.

Dyw. Piotr Patalong, erstwhile commander of the 18th Bielski Desant-Sturm Battalion and peculiar Forces inspector; Gen. Brig. Brig. in the St. Bogdan Tworkowski, erstwhile commander of the 6th Airborne Brigade, Brig. Michał Strzelecki, commander of the 6th Airborne Brigade, Colonel Marcin Syudziński, commander of the 11th Lesser Polish Territorial Defence Brigade, Colonel Artur Wielkowski, Deputy Commander of the 6th Air Force. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz besides posthumously distinguished Bronisław Kwiatkowski, the commander of the operational types of armed forces who died in the Tu-154M plane crash in Smolensk.
