The military spending on the countries of the planet has increased by almost 10% over the last year and this is the most since the end of the Cold War - according to the Stockholm global Institute for Peace investigation (SIPRI) study published on Monday. According to the analysis, the value of this kind of expenditure increased in 2024, the tenth year in a row, to $2 trillion 718 billion. This is peculiarly liable for increased expenditure by 17% in Europe, including Russia.
